After visiting the Comedy Cellar, we decided to come here due to the high reviews and the fact that it was recommended by Mikey Cheng. While there was a small line, we were seated within 10 minutes. We actually scored a table! We ordered the zhang beef noodles with knife cut noodles which I highly recommend! The noodles were fresh with a slight chew and paired well with the beef and soup. The beef was super tender and they gave a good portion. The Dan Dan noodles were ok and not my favorite though other reviewers seem to rate it highly. Will definitely be back!

Not sure why it took me 6 years to bump this review from 4 to 5 stars, but I'm so sorry Shang for taking so long. It's so wonderful to see the amazing growth this place has had, from the tiny restaurant that began many years ago, to this huge new modern and update dining space. The food is still the best for Vegas. On my most recent trip I ordered the Shang beef hand pulled noodles, and it was delicious as always. Another must get for me is the spicy pork dumplings, so juicy and full of flavor. I think I need to switch up my order next time and go for the knife cut noodles instead.

I've been going to their Shang Mian location since it's closer and less crowded for me, but I came back to their original location a few times recently and am so impressed with their remodel! Their space is so much bigger now, and while it's still as busy as before, wait times are significantly less because they can accommodate so much more seating. Definitely make sure to utilize their Yelp waitlist to save time, too. Obviously, their noodle soups are a must. Their Beef Noodle Soup is not only the best in town, but one of the best I've had in the US. To vary it up, I also like getting the Spicy Pork Belly Noodle for the heat. Their spice level is solid and will probably work up a sweat for most people, but is definitely tolerable. I'd definitely caution anyone who is sensitive on spice though. However, I wanted to leave this review not only to highlight their expanded size, but also their Chicken Sesame Cold Noodle. I tried it for my first time during my last visit and they absolutely nail it. Amazingly, it's been a pretty difficult dish for me to find in this town despite how hot it can get here, but the few others that I've tried either have it too salty, too saucy (or a wrong sauce altogether), or too few vegetables. Shang's is perfect! Especially during the hot summers in Vegas, this dish is a worthwhile try if you're not in the mood for a hot bowl of noodle soup.

OK.. Another place Mike Chen ate so I wanted to give this place a try.. Iove noodles specially home made. Nice clean restaurant with friendly staff. They were also helpful and picking dishes. Ordered the spicy pork dumpling for starter. Ordered the popular spicy Shang beef noodle with hand pulled. Dan Dan noodle (only comes in spicy). The dumpling.. OMG.. One of my favorite dumpling I've eaten. The wrap was nice and chewy and the pork was juicy and flavorful. The spicy dipping sauce was also yummy addition to the flavor. My noodle dish was very yummy. Nice chewy noodle but not too chewy. Broth was full of flavor and little spicy in the beginning. I added spoon full of chili oil that was on the table. Dan Dan noodle was spot on.. Ordered the knife shaved noodles for that one. Probably one of the best dan dan noodle dish Ive eaten. The spicy level is little above average spice. Creeps up on you as you eat more. Over all the dishes were very good. I think this is the 3rd hand pulled noodles restaurant I've been to and this one hands down my favorite. The portions were pretty big and price was very reasonable for what you get for noodles. The dumpling price was bit on the high end but man was it worth every penny. I definitely come back here again and try the other dishes.

Beef noodle soup hits different in 110 degree weather in Vegas summer! The best beef noodle soup I've ever had.. and beef noodle soup is my favorite dish out of all Taiwanese cuisine. Shang exceeded our expectations. My friend and I shared a soup, we got the original with hand-pulled noodles and wow, the noodle texture is what probably made this soup complete perfection. It was so easy to cut the noodles with a spoon and personally I'm not the best with chopsticks so eating the noodles was easy for once. Beef was very soft and tender and the bok choy wasn't chewy at all. Usually at other places the boy choy is tough. The broth did taste a little light compared to other beef noodle soups I've had but I'd stay the main character here are the noodles. They have other types of noodles too and I'll be trying these next time. We also ordered some spicy beef dumplings which were delicious as well but not as spicy as I had hoped and also got an order of 4 beef pancakes (perfect for us because we were a group of 4). They blast the AC here so in case you're wondering how do you eat beef noodle soup in this weather. Anyway, if you love Asian food, you can't miss out on Shang!

I can see what all the hype is all about... 5000 + reviews and almost 5 ***** Just be prepared to wait...Shang Artisan Noodle is very popular, in fact try to avoid this place during dinner. I suggest coming at off peak times to avoid a long wait. Our wait was pretty bad...I think it took us an hour to finally get seated even though we were quoted about 40 minutes. As expected it was packed and pretty busy. Everything went smoothly once we were seated. Our orders came out fast and the food was brilliant. I love the open kitchen where you can see noodles being made...I found it entertaining. I'm not a big fan of the wait list system here. It's very old school; call you name out. I'm fairly certain a few people ahead of us left or we were bumped up since we inquired about our wait several times. Also not a big fan of the communal seating arrangement. Luckily our experience was very pleasant. We were seated next to a Latino family who seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their meal. The young kid at the table was ultra brave and was eating the spiciest levels! His parents were amused and proud at the same time...lol. Very impressive! #SendNoods: ~ SPICY BEEF DUMPLING - 5/5 Just a perfect beef dumpling without being too Spicy or oily. ~ DAN DAN NOODLE - 4.5/5 One of the best Dan Dan Noodles I had. Just about everything was perfect; the minced pork, level of spiciness, flavor etc, I do wish the portions were a bit bigger. ~ NOODLE SOUP: PORK BELLY NOODLE - 5/5 Glorious! I was on the fence about getting soup, since it wasn't that cold. The flavor from that Pork & Chicken Broth...delish! I'd get this again easily. Now I just need to return at off peak hours and try the rest of the menu. I'm a fan!

Been wanting to try this for sometime now and it did not disappoint at all. The beef is so tender that it really breaks apart with your chopsticks. The broth/soup so flavorful. Will definitely go back for more!!
